Studyroom is an EdTech platform that helps students learn better by empowering educators to create customised learning experiences for them. The platform also enables students to practise tasks on their own and benchmark their performance against their peers. Studyroom’s mission is to have personalised learning and feedback loops for every student.
The startup was founded in Bengaluru, India, in September 2020 by Suhail Abidi and Ashish Ranjan. Both Suhail and Ashish previously founded Tinystep, a social network for mothers that was funded by Flipkart. Suhail is an IIT Kanpur graduate with an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business, while Ashish graduated from IIT Kharagpur.
