Requestly is building a SaaS platform to empower developers and quality assurance engineers to test and debug web applications in real time.
It is estimated that software developers spend up to 50% of their time validating and debugging software, and a whopping 620 million developer hours a year are spent on debugging software failures. This represents a significant opportunity cost and time taken away from building high-quality products that improve user experience.
With Requestly, developers can test applications in higher environments and simulate error scenarios effortlessly, which reduces their time refining codes. The platform provides a browser extension and desktop app for developers to simulate different error code paths, switch environments for specific API and JavaScript endpoints, mock API responses, and record and replay browsing sessions for faster debugging.
Requestly is especially useful for front-end developers and QA engineers, who often have to rely on back-end programming to test scenarios. With Requestly, developers report saving an average of one hour per day.
Requestly, which is based in New Delhi, was founded by Sachin Jain, Sagar Soni and Sahil Gupta in December 2021. Sachin was previously a Computer Scientist at Adobe and led app development at Blinkit, formerly Grofers. Sagar, who built his first web app at 11 years old, has deep expertise in software engineering across multiple startups. Sahil has held software engineering roles at Oyo and Blinkit.
