Multiplier is a new-age Employer of Record that simplifies international hiring. The platform makes it easy for companies to hire teams internationally by managing the complexities of local compliance, labour contracts, payroll, benefits and taxes. Multiplier’s mission is to enable companies to hire the best candidate for the job, regardless of their location.
The future of work has changed dramatically in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic and companies have become more comfortable with distributed teams. Now, more than ever, organisations want to access the best talent, in any location, and need tools that will help them hire across various countries quickly and efficiently. At present, the traditional process of employing talent in a new country can take between a few weeks to months, depending on the country. Often, companies have to set up local entities to facilitate this process.
Multiplier has their own legal infrastructure that helps companies expand their team across any number of countries quickly and efficiently, and without establishing a local legal entity. The platform’s architecture works under a software layer that allows users to scale and manage their distributed teams using a universal interface. They currently operate across APAC, including India, the Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, and Sri Lanka, and work with partners in over 100 other countries to help companies fulfil their employment needs.
Multiplier was founded in Singapore in November 2020 by Amritpal Singh, Sagar Khatri, and Vamsi Krishna. Amritpal graduated from LSE (London School of Economics) and previously worked with KPMG London, while Vamsi and Sagar are IIT Bombay graduates. Vamsi was an early hire at Funding Societies, and Sagar most recently served as the VP of Corporate Development at Hmlet.
