Their platform enables online brands to interact with their customers and sell their products on apps such as WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger. Using chat as the core communication channel, BiteSpeed solves for the entire e-commerce customer journey from retargeting to providing shipping updates to customer support.
Online D2C brands tend to rely on Facebook and Google Ads to build their customer base, and on email marketing to retain them. However, over the years, ad costs on these platforms have increased by 5x and email open rates are averaging at just 10%. BiteSpeed facilitates retargeting and retention of customers through WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger, which have open and conversion rates that are 10x higher than other online alternatives. This helps brands drive 10% revenue through chat as a channel, reduce customer acquisition costs and increase lifetime value.
BiteSpeed was founded in June 2019 by Vinayak Aggarwal in Gurgaon, India. An engineering graduate from BITS Pilani, Vinayak founded a restaurant chatbot startup and a music startup called Star Connect, and also held pivotal positions in growth and marketing at companies including Trell, Hyperloop India and Harmonize
